Launch Party at Tuffet

Last Thursday The American Vernacular, with co-hosts Meghan Folsom and Terrific Magazine, celebrated it’s launch by throwing a party for nearly two hundred people at Tuffet Cheese/Meat/Bar in Williamsburg. With signature cocktails provided by Maker’s Mark, cheese and meat boards prepared by Tuffet owner Alicia Rebensdorf, a pop-up ‘photo booth’ in the study courtesy of photographer Azikiwe Mohammed, and the secluded private backyard kept warm by a woodburning fireplace, the evening far exceeded our already high expectations. What was originally planned as a small cocktail party turned into an all-night affair and it was so wonderful to see so many of our friends there to celebrate with us. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who contributed to making it such a great evening; co-hosts Meghan Folsom and Terrific founders Blair Pfander and Rachel Kichler, the staff at Tuffet, Maker’s Mark, and photographers Robert Brevdad and Azikiwe Mohammed. And also thanks to Jemme Aldridge for designing the invitations, Simone Laube and Elizabeth Baker.
